PassiFlora Network was a network of entrepreneurial students from Wageningen University who provided strategic and technical consultancy for sustainable agriculture and land use ventures world wide. Executing consultancy projects in Uganda, Sri Lanka and Brazil, we provided a unique view on the future of agricultural enterprises, founded in science and passion for a better world.After our studies, the three partners decided to dissolve PassiFlora Network to create space to pursue other opportunities.

The world's ecosystems are degrading on a planetary scale. Through ecosystem restoration, we can bring back life to a landscape.At The Green Branch, I was responsible for the design, planning and execution of two Brazilian reforestation projects. Together, we managed to restore over 3000 hectares of degraded land in the southern state of Rio Grande do Sul, bringing back biodiverse forest through a coordinated effort. Leading these projects, I gained experience in managing restoration operations by leading over 60 people in remote, hard to access locations. Thanks to my background in ecological science, I was able to create a data pipeline involving drone-, GPS- and remote sensing data to track our project's progress in near-real time, and steer the project's execution towards completion.
