I am a Student at the University of Hull studying Business Management and Financial Management, I enjoy learning all my new modules as I'm extremely interested in the business world and how it's always changing and adapting to new ways. I also enjoy keeping fit by going to the gym often and playing football during the week. I have played football for 14 years and throughout that time I've captained a team for 4 years winning the league I was playing in 3 times as well as winning major cups for our age as well as representing my county under 19's at 18 years old. I started working a part time job at a takeaway as a cashier since I was 17, this job included working in a team during busy periods, dealing with customers to keep them satisfied with the food as well as the service and also handling cash and card transactions. I strongly believe this has helped me develop good customers service skills alongside teamwork skills been having to work in stressful situations. after working inside the shop, I was asked to become a delivery driver for them once i passed my driving test. this was to help out the business as they were very short on drivers and getting many complaints about late and slow delivery times. I then moved on to work at Tesco's as a winter temp, this was to help out with the busy times around Christmas and I felt I was prepared to work in a situation like this due to my previous job. at this job I had to work in a smaller team as i was in the fruit and veg isles. although we had a smaller area to the rest of the shop we were extremely busy and meant we had to work together as a team to organise how we were going to work. i had to deal with stressed and sometimes angry customers when items were out of stock or they couldn't find them, i had to deal with incoming deliveries and organising the stock so we could put them out easier.
