In July 2017 I graduated from Northumbria University with a First-Class Honours degree in Sport Development with Coaching, achieving the highest mark across the year. My ability to organise and plan my approach to my varied and complex workload helped me succeed, skills which I am excited to utilise within my next role. Additionally, during my studies I volunteered extensively at events and with various organisations, charities and clubs, ultimately accruing over 200 volunteering hours.My diverse work experience has enabled me to develop exceptional time management skills. Allowing me to perform multiple tasks whilst simultaneously liaising and working with other professionals from diverse backgrounds to achieve a shared goal. My ability to prioritise tasks helps me to manage my time in an efficient and proactive manner, ensuring all targets and timeframes are consistently met. Furthermore, throughout my working life and university studies, I have demonstrated excellent interpersonal skills. Enabling me to effectively communicate across multiple disciplines and work with colleagues to deliver a high-quality service. I have exceptional written communication skills due to writing numerous essays and reports to an extremely high standard, showcasing my abilities to write in a concise and direct style.My outstanding verbal communication skills are evident in my delivery of presentations; I clearly articulate my ideas and discuss topics in a polite and professional manner. I built on these skills during my Commercial Officer role which required the adoption of a persuasive approach when advising clients. I ensured to showcase empathy and understanding, when necessary, whilst also being fully engaged within the conversation. This approach, coupled with my strong analytical and judgemental skills, helped me to effectively resolve any problems that arose.I possess outstanding administrative and organisational skills and an extremely disciplined approach. Thus, enabling me to take responsibility for my own workload, whilst also ensuring I efficiently deal with multiple queries simultaneously; relying heavily on my strong initiative. This also highlights my proficiency in adapting to new and challenging situations, where I always ensure I am approachable, responsive, and decisive in my problem solving.I am proficient in all aspects of Microsoft Office and have experience of working with data, statistics, spreadsheets, and online systems, further emphasising my robust IT competency. As well as showcasing my excellent analytical and critical thinking skills.
