As the Assistant Professor of DMT, I Instructed various courses in digital media which included 3d modeling, texturing, animation, interactive media, and video production. Course work included 3d Production, Advanced Animation, 3d Character Development, Interactive Media, Digital Video Production, and Introduction to Multimedia. I worked with a diverse population of students which ranged from Tech Prep students from Vanguard Career Center to Veterans who served in the Vietnam War. In addition to my teaching obligation, I recruited and advised students in the DMT program at Terra State. I proudly served as the technical advisor for the Terra Video Club which worked on several projects over the past year which included a documentary for legendary bass artist Doug Johns and the live streaming of the Melissa Manchester concert at the Sandusky State theater. While serving Terra in the role of Assistant Professor, I offered my services to several committees including the Challenge Grant Committee, Green Team, Academic Technology Committee and served 1 year as an ePortfolio Reviewer. I also had the privilege of attending numerous workshops in online course development and participated in the Quality Matters assurance program for distance learning development. Furthermore, I was trained and certified as a QM peer reviewer. From this experience, I was able to effectively create and facilitate two new online courses in visual media development completely on-line. As part of my acceptance into the PhD program at UT, I was asked to conduct professional development workshops at Terra State in Educational Technology. These workshops included "Engaging the 21st Century Learner" and "Using Prezi in the Classroom". I also proudly represented Terra State at several conferences which included the Association of Institutional Research Conference in New Orleans and the STEMTech League of Innovations Conference in Atlanta, GA.

As an AutoCAD designer for Didion's Mechanical, I reviewed and evaluated specifications which were integrated into digital prints for the workshop machinists, welders, and fabricators, I created these AutoCAD prints for ASME certified pressure vessels, heat exchangers, boilers, steam separators and stokers. In addition to my drafting responsibilities, I also assisted in job bids, material purchasing, material inspection, and quality control reviewing of finished products. On site experience included assisting welders in completing jobs in a timely manner and adhering to the standards set forth by Didion's Mechanical.

Hired in as one of the first Aquatics Managers at the newly opened Great Bear Lodge (now Great Wolf Lodge) was an exciting experience because of the opportunity to begin at a new establishment and contribute to the writing and setting of industry standards now found in indoor waterparks around the country. During my employment with Great Wolf Lodge, I was responsible for the hiring, training, evaluation and counseling of lifeguards in the 33,000 sq foot indoor waterpark. This training included quest service, safety, first aid, and lifesaving skills as set forth by the Ellis and Associates International Pool and Waterpark Lifeguard Training Program. In addition to assisting lifeguards in their professional role, I was also responsibility for guest service and waterpark cleanliness, which included overseeing the pool pump, heating, chlorination and filtration systems. Furthermore, I served as on staff EMT and fulfilled my monthly obligation as Resort Manager on Duty (MOD). In addition, I was the chair and coordinator of the Great Wolf Lodge Safety Committee. In this role I served as a consultant and advisor to all staff in regards to workplace safety and the OSHA standards. This role included meeting monthly to discuss safety plans and standards, as well as quarterly safety training workshops for staff and administration. As part of the Risk Management program, my responsibility included assessing both guest and employe accidents and offering training in topics such as preventative maintenance and accident assessment.

Worked as the Challenge Park Supervisor under John Wolshuck and Bill Spehn. Conducted daily rounds of the Cedar Point Beach, Soak City waterpark, Challenge Golf, Ripcord Skycoaster, Triple Challenge Racepark and Pet Farm. Assisted Team Leaders with scheduling and staffing issues, entertained guest concerns, trained staff on various positions and conducted employee consulting as needed.In addition to my supervisory role, I also spend time as a supervisor at Castaway Bay, Cedar Point's Indoor Waterpark resort and spent several years working as a Screamster for Cedar Point's annual Halloweekends .
