Thomas is a passionate serial entrepreneur, marketing and branding expert, leadership coach and startup mentor. After spending many years in his position as CEO in the US, Japan, Australia and Europe, he is passionate about sharing his international experience with leaders and startups alike. Thomas has created numerous patents and innovative technologies for television as well as the smart city sector, many of which are successfully being used today.Among several other companies, he founded Cleverciti Systems in 2012, a company devoted to contributing solutions to making our cities smarter as well as lowering CO2 emissions, by avoiding unnecessary parking search traffic and thereby improving quality of life. From 2017 to 2018 he spent one year in the Silicon Valley, establishing the US subsidiary of Cleverciti, which is now one of the leading suppliers of smart parking solutions in North America.Due to his background in the media industry, he has extensive international know how and experience in marketing and promoting new products, brands and services.His previous activities as a CEO and entrepreneur included the production and distribution of high-quality programs and unique TV events for leading international broadcasters. Among others, he produced numerous programs for Discovery Channel, National Geographic, NHK, ABC and many European broadcasters, such as Pro7, RTL, VOX, ZDF, BBC and TF1. Thomas also developed unique technologies for broadcast applications, such as fully remote-controlled TV-camera and transmission systems, which have been used in over 40 territories world-wide. He is the creator of the internationally known program called "earthTV", which was one of the widest reaching daily programs out of Europe, broadcast in 40 territories and 16 different languages.
