Responsible for outfitting all inbound recruits with necessary Utility Uniforms and Dress Uniforms to complete basic training. I am responsible for all eight Recruit Training Centers throughout the Country (Ft. Benning, Ft. Sill, Ft. Jackson, Ft. Leonard Wood, MCRD San Diego, MCRD Paris Island, RTC Great Lakes and Lackland Air Force Base). I also oversee support to the Uniform Distribution Center for the Coast Guard.In total, my division is responsible for outfitting approximately 300,000 incoming recruits annually with all clothing and accessories required to complete basic training. I utilize state of the art logistic practices to insure clothing is pushed to the eight locations across the country. In general, my primary mission is to insure 100% fill rates for all recruits the first time through the issue line. This is accomplished by prepositioning inventory at the eight sites (typically 60-90 days) and pushing material at pre-determined reorder points. The challenge to insure adequate sizes across the size tariff is a daunting task. Demands with each incoming class fluctuates greatly based on size demographics.

I am responsible for the requirments determination (forecast)and procurement initiation actions to support the US Armed Forces. I then oversee the logistical support insuring that the product is delivered when and where required. These endeavors are accomplishedwhile insuring that prudent budget decisions are made with respect to our two billion dollars in annual sales

Procured Military uniforms and accessories for the US Navy recruit training center in Great Lakes Michigan. I also supported all Navy and Marine Corps sales stores worldwide.

Responsible for the procuring, warehousing and distribution of Cold Weather and Chemical Protective Clothing gear worldwide in support of our armed forces.
