Services included financial analysis & budgeting, financial and cost controls and financial systems, including general ledger, A/P, A/R, fixed assets and budgeting applications. Clients included manufacturing companies (Mack Trucks, Husvarna), state government (Minnesota, Nebraska), federal government (Social Security Administration) and health care (Rochester Methodist, University of Minnesota Hospital).

Hired as Financial Manager for Western Area in Los Angeles (Irvine, CA), then became Operations Manager for Sacramento District, followed by Operations Manager for Minneapolis Region.

Pilot for single-engine and multi-engine propeller airplanes and helicopters. Commissioned Officer through Navy ROTC program at Purdue, then completed Navy Flight School in less than 12 months. On active duty, assigned to Search & Rescue mission at NAF El Centro and HS(L) - 31 squadron, part of the LAMPS program of Anti-Submarine Warfare and Anti-Ship Missile Defense missions at NAS North Island, California. Qualified as Aircraft Commander in H-1 Huey, H-2 Sea Sprite and H-3 Sea Horse. Collateral duties included assignments as Base Security Officer, Squadron Material Control Officer and Instrument Flight Training Officer.
