CurrentProject-based assignments with the focus on advising, supporting and providing pro-active leadership to owners / investors with the set-up and operation of their Hotel / Club / Restaurant asset(s).- Audit, analysis and defining recommendations for all IT platforms that were deployed in 6 hotels managed by 3 competing organizations, owned by one company, to prepare the transition to a franchised operations model. Focus was to standardize platforms across all properties allowing for establishing a shared-services model to maximize efficiencies at significantly reduced cost lines. The project was completed on time, on budget and without disruptions to operations and guest services.- Evaluated the IT infrastructure and software platform requirements for an independent, high-profile, lifestyle hotel in the UAE that had implemented unsuitable systems. Designed a value-engineered IT strategy ensuring the ownership investment is both phased and maximized.- Assisted with the pre-opening of a new hotel management academy, recommending, defining, and implementing their office automation infrastructure as well as recommending business systems to facilitate faculty & student communications. Acquired sponsors and contributors to support the academy with products, services, and industry expertise.- Using contemporary and unique methodologies, assessed and analysed the technology infrastructure of a leading advisory and project management organization in the UAE that was concerned about safeguarding their intellectual property. The assignment resulted in the definition of a detailed roadmap to bring their multiple business units under one common IT umbrella, combining their data protection needs and requirements for collaboration with external parties using a highly secure cloud environment, thus delivering the required operational benefits and cost savings.- More projects were delivered but cannot be published here due to space restrictions.
