I've worked in three professional arenas: the Nashville music scene (1987-1990); the high school, middle school, and elementary classrooms (1990-2007); and a NC hosiery manufacturer and retail brand (Thorlos), where I was company ombudsman (2007-2014). The common thread that ran through all of these experiences was my passion for working in creative and collaborative work spaces, especially utilizing interpersonal as well as writing skills to invite and influence positive change. Currently I am working from home in my new abode of Hillsborough, NC, where in the capacity of consultant I support the Thorlos brand marketing and social media teams. Additionally, I have several personal writing projects that I enjoy working on and look forward to finishing and publishing (sharing) them when they-- and I-- are ready. Fortunate to have experienced only professional endeavors for which I have had great enthusiasm, I look forward to making new acquaintances on LinkedIn and perhaps identifying possibilities where my gifts and talents can contribute further to the interests and welfare of others.
