Develop strategies to avoid recurrence of these.• Lead Assist in equipment concepts.• On time delivery of engineering releases.• Managing a team of controls and mechanical engineers, designers and drafters.• Work in a manufacturing environment for highly customized and engineered equipment.• Analyze customer’s technical specifications regarding the application of power distribution equipment and apply appropriate product solutions to meet the customer’s expectations in cost-effective and timely manner.• Manage engineering using variety of system software i.e. 3D CAD Parametric packages (Solidworks), preference given to work in NX Unigraphics, E-Plan Alan Bradley Siemens PLC /HMI other as required.• Multitask and manage large workloads and business demands.• Embrace a culture of quality and continuous improvement.• Manage contract financials• Estimate create proposals for customer new project requests.

Main responsibilities include: Supervision of a large internal and external engineering staff. Responsible for Controls Engineering support in all phases of sales, proposal, prototyping, standards, design, purchasing, assembling, testing and after sales. Responsible as hiring manager and forecasting resources needed to meet customer design deliverables and schedules. Plan and execute multiple "New and Major" multi million dollar projects assuring the achievement of timing, quality and cost targets. Applying and auditing company standard processes and norms. Work closely with other departments and business units both locally and globally. Take part in global job share projects working in multi country cultural methods. Applying and creating internal standards.

Responsible for designs and commissioning systems of electrical and fluid controls for a variety ofapplications including welders, robots, assembly, conveyance and transfer systems at a project level. Applies industry knowledge and experience to manage projects from quoting phase to commissioning. Utilizes planning, resource and task management skills to direct controls engineering staff in successful implementation of project assignments. Responsible for multiple projects at any given time. This is a professional position, requiring planning and resource management skills to direct and monitor tasks of others. Must be capable of making autonomous decisions based on experience and project requirements. Has specialized training either formal or through on-the-job work experience. Has extensive technical knowledge gained through customer and project experience.

Leads the team that designs controls software programs from scratch by performing the following duties under the supervision of the Controls Project Engineer. TECHNICAL RESPONSIBILITIES:• Knows customer specifications (corporate and plant) for use in all the following activities.• Working knowledge of electrical and fluid schematic packages • Researches, develops, and documents software interfaces.• Lays out software structure and writes logic from scratch.• Designs Human Machine Interface (HMI) screens. • Checks software programs for errors.• Provides debugging for intermediate to complex machine applications.• Participates in the machine integration and debugging process at the customer’s facility if required• Ability to read, analyze, and interpret customer specifications, electrical controls schematics, technical procedures, and governmental regulations. • Ability to write technical documents and reports. • Ability to follow written or verbal instructions from supervisors and customers.• Ability to work in a group environment• Working understanding of mechanical systems, their components, and the relationship of those systems to the controls software design.• Ability to supervise, train and mentor Software Engineers
