My credentials as an ECITB International Scaffolding Trainer span various levels, from General Worker to Scaffold Inspector, and I hold certifications in International Health and Safety Passport (IHSP) training, covering Foundation, Advanced, Supervisor, Environmental Awareness, Risk Assessment, and Working at Heights.My professional journey includes over 13 years of experience in health and safety within the construction and mining sectors, with 7 years dedicated to operational training. Additionally, I have 2 years of experience in the security industry and 7 years in management roles, encompassing people, safety, health, quality, and training.Currently pursuing a Postgraduate qualification in Project Management (NQF Level 8), I also hold a tertiary qualification in Business Administration from Mancosa (NQF Level 7). My academic background includes advanced and foundational safety management studies at the University of South Africa, as well as a Higher Certificate in Business and Economic Science and further education in business management.I am passionate about performance and leadership, with a strong focus on communication and interpersonal skills within team environments. I am also an accredited Facilitator, Assessor, and Moderator with various SETAs.In my role, I have been instrumental in conducting Training Needs Analysis and developing Workplace Skills Plans. I oversee the quality management system for Waco Training Academy and implement training programs and initiatives that optimize resources and systems. I am actively involved in coaching, supporting, and guiding training and development efforts, managing external providers, and contributing to policy and procedure development.
