I have always had a passion for innovation and developing new skills. I started my first career at Outback Steakhouse at 17. i was quickly recognized for my work ethic and began pursuing kitchen training. I had soon trained every position in the kitchen and was offered Assistant Kitchen Manager position. I revised many operating and maintenance procedures. These revisions led to better customer satisfaction, higher health scores, and increased productivity. While working full time I began taking part time classes at GTCC to pursue my true passion of innovation as an engineer. While still attending part time classes I moved onto a career that I was passionate about at VF. I was initially hired as an entry level finishing technician with focus mainly being on development, however; within 6 months I had moved onto assuming multiple responsibilities outside of normal technician roles; things such as laser pattern development, wet finish engineering, and providing company insights into the future of laser technology. Later I was promoted to the full time position of Laser Design and Application. Currently I assume responsibility for the creation of new dry finish patterns and their application in mass production using laser technology.
