Financial management expert with extensive experience designing, implementing and evaluating financial management and accounting systems in the public and not-for profit sector. Currently serves as Senior Director and Practice Lead with DT Global’s PFM Unit and is responsibility its portfolio contracts for fiduciary services with MCC, the Global Fund, Gavi, and bilateral donors. In addition to project management responsibilities, Mr. Ingvoldstad applies his technical skills on a wide range of projects. He has led multiple teams of technical experts in undertaking institutional capacity assessments of public entities and NGOs around the world, including Bangladesh, Malawi, Mongolia, Mozambique, Papua New Guinea and South Africa. He has completed assessments of grant recipients’ financial management systems, internal controls and audit functions, tools and procedures, budgets, and the organizations’ overall capacity to manage and implement donor funded programs. Mr. Ingvoldstad has also designed and implemented risk mitigation and capacity building plans based on the assessment results. Earlier in his career Mr. Ingvoldstad was responsible for redesigning financial management and accounting system used by all project field offices; implementing new reporting procedures and improving the home office’s ability to monitor and manage funds held in field offices and to ensure the proper use of the organization’s resources.
