MEng Medical Engineering at the University of Leeds. I have a great interest in engineering, specifically mechanical, aeronautical and medical. In my pass times I enjoy working on projects such as creating a foundry to melt aluminium, creating Arduino robots to traverse through an environment and sense using ultra-sonic sensors to prevent collisions and enthusiastically use CAD and CAM for small fun projects. Engaging in rock climbing and boxing both increases my physical health but also helps with mental health and increases confidence. I find bouldering (a type of rock climbing involving tricky holds and well thought out paths) a great way to problem solve so I can push my physical and mental limits. Over all, I am enjoying university and look forward to getting better experience in engineering and technologies that will solve problems for specific users. In the grand scheme I'd love to help further our knowledge of the environment we live in and the space surrounding our planet to help the every day person.
