At Micron Systems, I played a key role in driving the overall technical strategy as the primary liaison between senior management in NJ and a development/DevOps team in the Philippines. In addition to migrating our offshore organization from Waterfall to Agile, I led process and culture change, introducing modern technology and best practices.Highlights included:⇨ Building and managing our development team, which grew to 33 offshore developers in 2 years. ⇨ Reducing defects and slashed build, deploy, and test time by moving from Waterfall to Agile.⇨ Introduced code review, JIRA / Confluence / Slack for collaboration, and GitHub (new applications)/Perforce (legacy platforms) for version control. ⇨ Automated CI/CD for new applications using AWS Code Deploy, AWS CLI, Lambda scripts, and TeamCity.⇨ Led technical development of SaaS applications hosted on AWS.
