Rotation 3: School of Medicine Public Health (SMPH) - Office of Basic Research, Biotech. & Grad. Studies - Informed on the different funding requests the office receives and sat in on Bi-Monthly meetings with the Dean in my office and VC at OVCR to go over funding commitments for PI's for the different types of requests. - Designed a dashboard in excel for OVCR to assist with tracking all FY24 funding requests they committed funding to. - Developed a new reporting system and dashboard for my office to assist in tracking current and all on-going FY24 funding requests. I incorporated past FY data for each of the funding request types going back to FY18.

Rotation 2: Business Services - Cash Management & Disbursement Administration - Accounts Payable- Split time between two units: Cash Management in the morning and Accounts Payable in the afternoons. - Coded daily/check deposits to the respective departments. - Helped with researching unidentified funds that hadn't yet been claimed by a department. Involved reaching out to the vendor or supplier to learn more about the transaction and which unit made the transaction. - Analyzed late-payment interest each Monday. Ran three different queries to track which payments the UW owed late interest on. - FY24 Prepayments Audit - reviewed ~ 9,000 invoices that were over $10k and had services extending into FY24.- Assisted with purchase order closeouts in ShopUW+.
