As the Managing Director and Owner of Salt of the Earth (Crystal Spring Consumer Division Ltd), I’ve had the privilege of steering our independent, self-funded family business, owned by myself, my mum, and my dad, from its humble beginnings to becoming a globally recognised brand in natural personal care. When I took over in 2008, we were operating out of my mum and dad’s house. Today, we’ve grown into a thriving enterprise with our own manufacturing facility in Chandler’s Ford, selling over 8 million deodorants in more than 35 countries.From the start, I’ve been passionate about creating products that are not only effective but also kind to the planet. In 2013, we were among the first to introduce refillable deodorants with our innovative spray refill system. Continuing our commitment to sustainability, we launched one of the world’s first refillable roll-ons in 2022.
