Before the US Navy I was an assistant manager of a Store, handling operations, pay roll, deliveries, employee development. I joined the Navy after 5vyears with my pervious employer. I chose to be a Corpsman as medicine has always facinated and intrigued me. I excelled in this field compleatibg training in half the expected time. Once sent into the fleet at my first command I found several positions where I quickly became essential, in the Personel Department managing the Defense Travel System, the Command Files, deploymemt orders and cross command interfacing. at my second command which was an overseas command I was in charge of supplies, I streamlined ordering, fostered a good relationship with the Comptroller and updated many of the clinics older equipment. At my next command I provided medical support up to the decommissioning of the Unit and medically retired from the US Navy. over the next 3 yeats completed a degree in Economics.
