Oversee the Computer Information Technology program and provide technology related instruction to undergrad students. Tasks include course build and maintenance using Blackboard, lectures, grading, and student response resolution of approximately 10 to 30 students per course in Information Technology oriented courses. Courses taught include an Introduction to Computer Programming (C++), Data Structures, Database Systems, System Analysis and Design, Project Management, Information Systems, and the Microsoft Office 2016 Suite.

Responsible for planning, organizing, managing, and implementing information system programs and projects including the supervision of staff supporting systems analysis (fit/gap, requirements, feasibility, and cost/benefit), research, system and application configuration, System Development Life Cycle (SDLC)/Information Technology Infrastructure Library (ITIL) methodology/specification and enforcement including identification of customer needs and drivers of IT requirements, design and implementation of services, and monitoring and improvement, database development, data engineering, and applications programming. Functioned as Lead DBA/PeopleSoft Administrator creating, implementing, monitoring, backing up and maintaining PeopleSoft’s HRMS/Payroll, Financials, and EPM 7.5/8.3/8.8/8.9/9.0 ERP databases in a client/server HP 9000 clustered environment with an Oracle 9i and Oracle 10g backend. Responsible for the creation and maintenance of approximately forty database instances in support of development, test, production and data warehouse environments. Installed and configured the Quest SharePlex product to replicate and propagate changes from PeopleSoft to data warehouse environments. Implemented an Oracle RMAN backup infrastructure to support backup and recovery. Also perform security and application server administration as well as apply PeopleSoft updates and fixes. Responsible for database performance and tuning and for the research, evaluation, and testing of new database, and PeopleSoft products.Designed, installed, maintained, backed up, recovered, reorganized, and tuned Oracle, Microsoft SQL Server 6.5, 7.0, 2000, and 2005, IMS, DB2, RDB, Access, Mumps, and Sybase database systems.
