Was part of Global Control Department which ensures the accuracy of the books and records of the company, to facilitate compliance with regulatory rules that safeguard client assets, and to drive the development of a strategic control framework to effectively manage Operational and Financial Risk. Responding to client audit confirmation requests on behalf of their auditors to confirm cash and security balances / to various Regulators request (SEC/FSA/National Futures Association), furnishing details for their audit.Liaise with the clients/auditors and regulators to ensure that their audit requirements are met in time.Supporting large product mix: Equity/Fixed income, Swaps, Futures, Foreign exchange Forwards/Options, Energy, Repurchase agreements, Senior Bank debt, MBS and Stock borrows/loans.Part of a two member team who traveled to New York and migrated the Goldman Sachs, Cayman Islands fund administration and Goldman Sachs, New York Prime Brokerage Audit Function to Bangalore / part of the team responsible for implementing Secure Zone as a tool to streamline the work flow in terms of responding to Auditor’s and Regulatory Requests.
