Working with Functional Subject Matter Experts to ensure the availability of adequate provision of Technical Training programmes to support both business effectiveness and compliance. In addition, I advise managers of key Learning & Development compliance requirements to maintain and where possible improve on managing Regulatory expectations. Projects I have been actively involved in include the following:• Delivering on the development and implementation at all sites of Common ‘Authorisation’ standards through a new HRIS. Business benefits being realised include:-• A reduction in resource required to maintain authorisation standards.• A reduction of resource to manage Authorisations across the business through implementation of a Common Authorisations management process.I have also enjoyed my participation as an Internal QMS Auditor in a programme of ‘Assurance Audits’ which sought to establish that L&D activities were being undertaken efficiently and compliantly, whilst identifying ‘best practice’ that could have influence upon Business Improvements.

Within this role I was responsible for ensuring staff learning needs were identified, planned and delivered and their potential realised through development to meet the business challenges and deliverables.In addition, my team and I worked with Internal and External Training professionals to ensure Learners were trained and developed in an environment conducive to Learning where their achievements could be evaluated against business objectives.During my period in this role, I was instrumental in the recruitment, selection and development of Apprentices (of which had not taken place for some 15+ years)

Acting as single point of contact and providing specialist HR advice and information as a subject matter expert to HR colleagues and line managers in a number of assigned professional areas – e.g. family matters, reward, resourcing, L&D etc., and to contribute to the development of HR projects, policies, processes and issues.
