I am a growth orientated individual with experience in classification and labelling as well as telephone emergency response. My current role with Lanxess Solutions has me working in Dangerous Goods transport where I am responsible for classification, data management and working alongside site based teams to help ensure the smooth and compliant transport of products.I previously worked as an emergency responder for the National Chemical Emergency Centre which saw me advising members of the UK emergency services, international hauliers, major chemical companies and members of the public. I have also worked for AkzoNobel as a member of the global classification and labelling team where my focus was on managing substance and raw material data, SDS authoring and working with product managers to identify potential regulatory hurdles they might face. I studied an MChem at Newcastle University, including a final project focussed on synthesizing a novel organometallic catalyst.In my free time I am a writer and am currently seeking representation for my first novel. I also practice Jiu Jitsu.
