CurrentSheraton Grand Hotel Dubai is composed of total 654 Rooms : ( 474 Guest Rooms and 180 Hotel Serviced Apartments), Banquet Space and F&B Outlets. Overall Responsible in the entire procurement function of the entire Hotel. Managing the purchasing, store and receiving team. Anticipate drastic market fluctuations which might affect the hotel supply or its costs.Control and verify all other expenses incurred by purchasing department.Support hotel departments on their requirement ensuring it is align on their budget and needs. Coordinate and follow-up all hotel needs with other outside parties.Handle the required approvals of items to be imported and to follow up all required procedures.Maintain a separate file for all regular supplies' quotations (At least three for each) including the one in effect, in order to secure the best quality and prices.Maintain compliance with all local UAE Requirement Participate in the development of short- and long-term financial and operational goals of the hotel.Performed tasks independently or in a team environment with minimal direct supervision.Study and analyze market changes in terms of products and prices.Conduct quarterly market surveys for the fresh / regular purchasing items.Control and monitor all short term / long term supplier contracts of the hotel.
