Work experience at a family run business, carrying out general administrative tasks as well as arranging and carrying out appointments, taking and drawing up inventories, measuring and taking photos of properties and typing up the details, typing up Memorandum of sale, typing tenancy agreements using Oyez software. Customer service skills were very important at Woodcote Garden Centre as it achieved number one garden retailer of the year award. It was a very busy environment to work in and I developed skills in dealing with the general public and providing a welcoming and friendly manner. There were regular three monthly appraisals in which I scored very highly.

This involved serving customers, working on the tills, cooking and cleaning. Customer service skills were very important as Merlin is a nationwide organisation and the training is very thorough.
