Having an interest in the GAA and in particular reporting on activities pertaining to the G.A.A. I considered it a great honour to be asked to become a G.A.A. Correspondent for the Munster Express newspaper in 2009, five months after I compiled my first article for the paper.

Contributor to Community Radio Youghal – GAA This Week Programme: (2012 to present) Reporting and previewing on GAA Activities in West Waterford when it comes to Hurling, Football, Camogie and Ladies Football.In March 2015 I became a contributer for Womens Sprts Journal. I have compiled match reports and/or previews for the following – Munster Express, Irish Examiner, Irish Times, Irish Independent, Sunday World, Sunday Tribune, RTE.ie, Irish Daily Star, Irish Sun, Irish Daily Mail, Dungarvan Leader, Dungarvan Observer, Nenagh Guardian, The Nationalist (Clonmel). I have also put together many pieces for different Match Day Programmes. I have also compiled local notes for the following newspapers: Dungarvan People, Waterford People, South Tipp Today, The Premier PeopleI also run my run my own G.A.A. Over the 15 years I worked in the school I carried out a great deal of the Administration work in the school. I also helped out with extra curricular activities at the school and helped with supervision in the play ground and at times in the classroom. For many years while at the school, I would turn up early (voluntarily) walking the grounds to search for sharp or broken objects which could have been left in the grounds outside of school hours which could be a danger to pupils should they fall and to ensure that the heating etc. had come on during the winter months. I also at times found small tasks for some to do before school and to supervise them doing them.
