Served as Professor of Military Science at one of the oldest continuously running ROTC programs in the United States. Supervised the mission accomplishment of over 100 students and 12 staff members. Primary duties included enrollment officer tasked with targeted recruitment, developing leaders and retaining quality prospects for future service in the US Army. Performed duties as academic department chair and worked with the campus and local communities in areas pertaining to the US Army. Served as mentor to future officers and collaborated with University of Oklahoma faculty and administrative leaders from the perspective of the best overall interest of the University of Oklahoma, the ROTC program and the US Army. •Exercising positive command influence and leader development, I improved the overall academic enrollment, performance and timely graduation rates to more than 88% graduating in four years, while increasing average cumulative GPAs by greater than .5, resulting in more than double the number of students on the Dean’s and Presidential Honor Rolls. •As a direct result of the increased performance in the ROTC program, 100% of commissioning/graduating seniors were awarded their top choice of Army component and officer branch.•Through the revitalization and improved reputation of the OU Army ROTC program, there are plans for significant building renovations and donor investment in academic scholarships for the first time in 100 years.•I provided the strategic vision, planned, coordinated, resourced and synchronized the execution of the premier OU Army ROTC Centennial celebration. I worked across multiple organizations including senior leaders within the university, the SecArmy staff, Army Senior Leaders, Oklahoma Army National Guard and local community for the proper recognition of the OU Army ROTC program.

Served as Integration Officer in the Army Transformation Directorate under the supervision of the Army G-3/5/7 and the Vice Chief of Staff of the Army. Designed, developed and managed the Army Dynamic Strategic Operations & Readiness Matrix which coordinated all major planning, programming and training activities across Headquarters, Department of the Army, Army Commands, Army Service Component Commands and Direct Reporting Units. Orchestrated the development, staffing and publishing of Department of the Army execution and fragmentary orders. Supervised the Operational Planning Team in the synchronization and execution of the Brigade Combat Team reorganization and accelerated in-strength reduction. Developed, coordinated and oversaw all RAND (Research ANd Development) Arroyo Center studies sponsored by the Army G-3/5/7 while acting as the RAND liaison to the Deputy Chief of Staff.•Developed the first total Army Dynamic Strategic Operations & Readiness Matrix which allowed Army senior leadership to see all strategic decisions, operations, and transformation execution throughout the Army to support Brigade Combat Teams, Division Artillery/Fires Brigades, and Aviation reorganization. This readiness matrix allowed the Secretary of the Army, Chief of Staff of the Army and Army Major Commands to have a common operational picture of the largest Army reorganization since WWII in order to enhance their strategic decision making and operational readiness.•Coordinated with department heads to collect vital information for RAND to conduct critical analysis on strategic topics, which I then presented to Senior Army Leadership for endorsement.

Japan

Deputy Commander and Chief of Staff for the only Army Aviation organization in Japan. Guided the welfare, supervision and training of over 80 Soldiers, Department of the Army civilians, Japanese nationals and maintenance personnel. Managed and maximized the spending of a battalion budget worth over $4.6 million while serving as the billing official for all credit card purchases. Maintained proficiency as a UC-35 trained pilot.•Served as the deputy battalion commander, chief of staff and headquarters company commander. I played an instrumental role in the battalion earning the Lieutenant General Ellis D. Parker Award, recognizing the top aviation battalion of the year in 2010 and 2011.•Achieved an aircraft operational rate of over 90% while providing superb aircraft support throughout Japan and the Far East Region while also supporting bilateral military operations such as Operation Enduring Freedom-Philippines, Cobra Gold in Thailand and Balikatan in the Philippines.•During the Great Eastern Earthquake and Tsunami in March 2011, I coordinated humanitarian assistance and disaster relief efforts in Northern Japan and ensured the safe evacuation of civilian and military family members stationed at Camp Zama, earning the battalion a Army Superior Unit Award for outstanding meritorious performance.

Baghdad, Iraq

Senior advisor to the deputy brigade commander and staff of a 2,500-man Iraqi National Police Brigade operating in Baghdad, Iraq. Advised and mentored the deputy commander and the brigade staff on planning of joint combat operations in an urban environment, logistics, combat readiness, staff operations and training management. Organized tactical, administrative and logistical support of an 11-man US Army military adviser team and subordinate units. Oversaw the maintenance and accountability of equipment valued in excess of $3 million. Coordinated operations between the National Police and the Coalition Forces when support was required. Served as commander of the team in the absence of the commander.•Displayed exceptional verbal, interpersonal and cultural skills to produce tangible results through a strong cohesive relationship with our Iraqi counterparts and local community leaders.•Assisted Iraqi counterparts in numerous humanitarian and civil assistance operations to include neighborhood hospital clinics, local elections, re-establishment of the free press, local business infrastructure development, community growth and neighborhood cohesiveness.•Recruited, managed and developed over a dozen local linguists to facilitate meaningful interaction with our Iraqi counterparts and local population, which helped our team become the most successful in Baghdad.

Developed, implemented and tracked scholarship programs in order to meet enrollment and contracting goals for each academic year group. Managed a $15,000 marketing budget in which I developed and integrated campaign-specific marketing strategies to facilitate brand recognition and awareness and generate prospect leads. Conducted in-person electronic and telephonic interface with all perspective students. Trained, directed and mentored subordinate officers and provided cadet assistance when assigned.• Reestablished the ROTC program at Kutztown University by coordinating with staff and students at the university to provide both classroom support and office space resulting in a 50% increase in student enrollment.• Formulated a recruiting paradigm which produced a 150% increase in enrollment across all 13 colleges and universities.
