Supervised the training and preparation of entry-level infantry Marines for service in the Operating Forces, Marine Corps Security Forces, and Marine Corps Reserve graduating over 6500 Marines in 32 entry-level training classes. Instituted highly effective instructor and leader development programs, one-on-one mentoring for students, and an innovative transfer process ensuring Marines were received by their new units in a personal, inclusive manner upon graduation. Advised, coached, and mentored three Iraqi battalion commanders and staffs on tactics, techniques, and force protection during counterinsurgency operations. Trained and led 21-member advisor team supporting Iraqi infantry battalions in combat. Recognized as top battalion-level advisor in the brigade for transforming underperforming team into an effective counterinsurgency unit.
