Supervised the training and preparation of entry-level infantry Marines for service in the Operating Forces, Marine Corps Security Forces, and Marine Corps Reserve graduating over 6500 Marines in 32 entry-level training classes. Instituted highly effective instructor and leader development programs, one-on-one mentoring for students, and an innovative transfer process ensuring Marines were received by their new units in a personal, inclusive manner upon graduation. Results demonstrated significant improvement in instruction, leadership, and acquisition of skills taught school-wide while dramatically reducing unauthorized absences and liberty incidents (3 total out of 2,163).• Managed six programs of instruction through five training companies, seeking continuous improvements, maximizing training effectiveness, and ensuring efficient use of scarce resources.• Developed the professional, physical, and tactical expertise of leaders, instructors, and students to ensure their optimum occupational proficiency and career progression.• Developed the leadership, morals, and Marine Corps values of all students and staff to ensure their future success as Marines.

Advised, coached, and mentored three Iraqi battalion commanders and staffs on tactics, techniques, and force protection during counterinsurgency operations. Trained and led 21-member advisor team supporting Iraqi infantry battalions in combat. Recognized as top battalion-level advisor in the brigade for transforming underperforming team into an effective counterinsurgency unit.
