Best described as Servant Leadership.As Deputy Police Chief, I developed a city strategic business plan for homelessness, involving a coordinated effort with several City departments and outside community, county, and state resources. The initiative addressed challenges in the city ordinance for solicitation and the new anti-camping law. As an Assistant Chief, I have assisted in the transition of the Crime Information Center into a Real Time Crime Center focused on the utilization of technology to enhance the safety to the community and all first responders. We are developing the Drone First Responder Program to further improve the real time intelligence for all first responders.
