Regional Freight Analyst• Responsible for Truck, Rail, and Marine freight for the Canadian Region including negotiating rates and analyzing profit and lost figures.• Responsible for maintaining the Customer file and accurate billing of freight costs for the Canadian Region.• Creating and maintain accurate routing information of all freight including trucking, train, and Marine.• Creating/Maintaining the SAI Database for accurate rates monitoring the rates effective and expiration dates.• Analyze extensive information from the Scrap Management System to identify costs savings and business opportunities as well as identify opportunities to improve on a regional perspective.• Coordinate exports of material and sales including sales costs • Communicates, solves questions and is involved in as projects for the Logistics Department, Finance Department, and SAI Business Analysts.Inventory & Production Analyst• Entering daily production and inventory movement data into the SAI program• Planning, Scheduling, and Executing inventory exports to the US. • Maintaining inventory levels and providing the Facilities and Operations Managers up to date information on their Branch.• Provide inventory book to physical reports to the Financial Business Partner and Accounting Team• Plan and implement inventory processes for the Island Branches including training on SAI reporting.• Communicate, solves queries, and solve any problems inventory related.• Manage and maintain inventory purchase costs, sales costs, disposal costs, and monthly inventory updates.
