After collecting around 25 years experience in the global energy and finance industry I decided to found Energy Risk Solutions (ERS) in 2015. ERS is providing consulting and origination services for the global weather and energy industry. My company has a proven track record with multiple consulting agreements for German reinsurers, French insurers as well as Scandinavian energy companies whom we assisted to get the best weather risk coverage for their money in a rather intransparent market.One of our current focuses is the renewables market in which we have a cooperation agreement with a Switzerland based wind turbine developer and producer who focuses on installations for on-site Corporate Power Purchase Agreements.Together with our partners in Germany and Austria ERS is also covering the upcoming H2 market. Director for origination weather derivatives and commodity price contingent outage structures in the enegy industry (Europe and Australasia). I managed a team of originators which was responsible for marketing weather derivatives and weather/commodity price quantos in the European and Australian energy markets. Client base have been major players in these geographical areas. In the renewables area I developed together with a German renewables consulting firm the first wind hedging product which actually covered client's physical generation. The first coverage for this product was executed with the largest Australian wind energy producer.

I started as product developer at derivAtel, Atel Trading's predecessor for derivatives trading. Within the foundation of Atel Trading I have been promoted to Head of Middle Office, responsible for Analysis, Risk and Portfolio Management. After Atel Trading has been finally grown from a two persons think tank to a 40 team members company I was promoted to head of natural gas trading. Markets have been NBP and TTF at that time. With the enhancement of Atel Trading's commodity trading activities a trader with responsibility for the financial coal and freight book has been added to my team.

Responsibility was to help my manager to acquire gas clients in Southern Germany, Austria, Hungary, Czech and Slowak Republik in order to get the necessary demand for a new German import pipeline (JAGAL-South)
