I performed various tasks focused on testing irradiated silicon detectors. This involved constructing a holder and cooling apparatus to be used during the irradiation process at Stanford Linear Accelerator Center, building a readout amplifier to cleanly amplify the signal from our detectors during testing, and currently, to develop a readout system to collect and analyze data via Python.

James Lick Observatory

Perform tasks to aide staff astronomers in maintaining and running a research facility. This included calibrating the Hamilton Echelle Spectrograph calibration lamp, testing of unlabeled filters using the KAST spectrograph to catalog and sort, and aide staff in a private tour. As a final project, planned and observed with the 40 inch Nickel telescope focused on detecting variable stars in the globular clusters NGC 7006, NGC 7078, and Palomar 13.
