As part of this project, provided programmers with product design layout and component selection guidelines for the software that incorporated multiple vendor selection programs. This resulted in one of the most powerful custom air handling selection programs in the market that reduced the overall sales proposal time by 25 to 40% for most unit designs. o Managed the team's development of program parameters to generate custom component and casing panel models into a three dimensional SolidWorks CAD layout production drawings. This resulted in a 25 to 30% reduction in overall design time for most units.o Managed layout, qualification, and dynamic shaker table test implementation team to establish Buffalo Air Handling's custom unit Seismic Certification in compliance with IBC 2015 and revised to IBC 2021.In addition to managing departments:o Worked directly with key customers nationwide in the Pharmaceutical, Hospital, and Consulting Engineering industries to address HVAC technical questions, layout / selections, installations, on-site evaluations and operational needs.o Supported field sales representatives with training, customer presentations, job site walk throughs and installation inspections.o Reviewed, redesigned, and optimized layouts of the unit designs to increase reliability/ sustainability, efficiency, cost effectiveness, and ease of maintenance.o Part of the company’s executive committee that developed and forecasted the company's annual budget and strategic business plan.

Successfully led the AHU Cabinet Layout & Electrical Design Team, Customer Service group, Testing Department, and Research and Development team.Key Accomplishments:o Reduced the overall warranty expenses from $1.3 million to $150,000 over roughly a two year period. Established a committee of key shop veterans, engineers, the quality control inspector, and designers to further expand the engineering standards and quality assurance checks to address the top field issues.o Identified and created a significant profit center for the company by expanding customer service into supporting the replacement parts offering and marketing aftermarket field services. This endeavor grew aftermarket sales by ten times prior results within the first three years and delivered roughly forty percent of the company profits during the recession.o Developed Buffalo Air Handling’s Engineering Standards for the new "no-through metal" casing design. Worked with designers and the manufacturing department to establish the significantly improved standards resulting in a reduction of warranty exposure and increasing overall product marketability.

Successfully led the Sales Applications Engineering group to support over thirty representative offices nationwide resulting in the highest annual sales in company history. Worked with the Vice President of Sales to determine air handling unit market price after optimizing costing, component selections and layouts with the Applications Team.

Supported the sales team with initial custom design layout, internal component selection, cost estimating, project management and outside sales representative support. Developed an air handling unit tool to provide a more accurate and consistent way to track bids and in-house orders which became the basis for the primary cost analysis spreadsheet used by the company to date.
