Noticing a lack of opportunity for culinary and foodservice professionals to promote their craft, techniques, knowledge and passion, he and his team developed Chef's Roll - At its core, Chef's Roll is a highly specialized community with unique influence, access and credibility within the global professional chef & foodservice marketplace.Chef's Roll's initial DNA was a peer-to-peer network for working professional cooks, chefs and foodservice decision makers. The network grew quickly and successfully. It was during this rapid growth and organic participation from its core membership of chefs from all over the world that the true power and uniqueness of Chef's Roll emerged: our ability to promote chefs, products, events and brands to a highly engaged chef audience through in-house content creation and pioneered programs.Additional strength lies in the reach and engagement of Chef's Roll's 1.5 MM+ followers across its various social media platforms.After earning his degree in hospitality management, he began his professional career on the islands of Grand Cayman and St. Croix (US Virgin Islands) successfully opening and managing several restaurants. Upon relocating to Washington, DC, Thomas began working for the famed Willard Intercontinental Hotel and focused his energy on managing F&B in a fine-dining environment catering to high-profile clients. He was then hired at Deloitte and Touche's largest North American facility, where Thomas helped run a $42 million hospitality program while working closely with senior executives to ensure flawless execution. Shortly after moving to San Diego, he and his business partner cofounded Chef’s Roll.
