My job consisted taking insurance assignments, going to the location, inspecting, gathering information to sketch and write an estimate in accordance to that insurance companies requirements to repair and rebuild the structure to the way it was before the loss. This required extensive knowledge of the construction industry, precise measurements and attention to details. The estimates had to complete and include all trades and returned to the insurance companies with in 48 hours from the time of inspection. I was also required to have vast knowledge of mitigation, roofing, flooring, and numerous programs. I have worked on both residential and commercial properties ranging for a few hundred dollars to hundreds of thousands. Estimates for fire, flood, hurricane, wind, water, and collision cover some of the work I have done. I currently hold a Louisiana state adjuster license and have completed Xactimate certifications level one and two and I am currently working on level three.
