Tom is a Portfolio Manager and has been with Stembrook since 2010. Tom counsels clients and directs the firm's daily trading activities and conducts research in a diverse range of sectors and asset classes.Since joining as an analyst, Tom has enhanced and continues to develop the asset allocation models that the firm uses when building client portfolios and forecasting asset class returns. In addition, Tom has refined the Stembrook Wealth Planning Tool, used in developing clients’ personalized Stembrook Strategic Investment Plans.Prior to joining Stembrook, Tom worked at Merrill Lynch Global Wealth Management where he supported international high-net-worth families and individuals and their advisors. Tom led a transition team during the Bank of America acquisition that trained bank representatives on the Merrill Lynch brokerage platform. Tom began his career in finance at Lucas Capital Management, an energy related hedge fund. At Lucas, Tom sat on the trading desk, assisting with portfolio management duties, trading, and investment research. Tom is a graduate of Villanova University, with a Bachelor of Arts in Finance and a Bachelor of Science in Economics and holds a FINRA Investment Advisor Representative (Series 65) license.Tom lives in Red Bank, New Jersey with his wife Martha and their daughter Madeline. He sits on the Board of Directors of the American Saltwater Guides Association (ASGA) Fisheries Policy Alliance, which advocates for healthier fisheries and better business through conservation. When not in the office, Tom spends most of his time on the water. He has a passion for saltwater fly and light tackle fishing and competitive sailing. He has published numerous articles and presents seminars on saltwater fishing. Tom and his family enjoy traveling and attending Villanova basketball games when they are not spending time on the water.
