As physicist, funding expert and project manager I am always eager to learn about innovative products and services and the companies and the team behind. With my expertise in the Horizon 2020 / Horizon Europe Programme and the EIC Accelerator (former SME Instrument), my goal is to bring these companies to success in entering the market with their innovations.I studied physics at Augsburg University with focus on solid-state physics, thermoelectric materials and photocatalytic water splitting. My thesis dealt with the realisation of thermoelectric generators based on thin metal oxide films. During my doctorate, I explored the topic renewable energies further by developing a patented concept for the photocatalytic water splitting to generate hydrogen as energy carrier and for photocatalytic decomposition of ecologically relevant substances. Furthermore, I gained several years of experience as project architect through the international cluster in the field of high performance fibre-reinforced composites ‘Carbon Composites e.V.’. In this framework, I was responsible for the CFRP market evaluation and authored the annual Composites Market Report. At EurA AG, I am vice coordinator for international funding and specialist in the extremely successful EIC Accelerator team in the EurA headquarter in Ellwangen, Germany.
