Freshman computer science student at Virginia Tech, eager to gain hands-on experience through internships and other opportunities. My academic background includes courses in computer science, advanced mathematics, and a wide variety of other STEM related courses. For programming, I am skilled in Java and MATLAB. At Virginia Tech, I am a junior analyst in Commodity Investing by Students (COINS), which is an organization that invests real money into commodity markets and provides first-hand experience into the finance industry. I have also interned at a smaller bank (Chain Bridge) and learned about various digital banking skills and data entry.In high school, I also worked a local grocery store (Harris Teeter) and gained experience being customer-oriented and working with other associates.I am interested in the quantitative side of the finance and computer science. I am also interested in AI/Machine learning, and hope to learn more about it so I can learn how it Is applied in many different fields.
