The Learning Lab is a premier enrichment centre providing English, Math, and Science face-to-face enrichment classes from Pre-school to Junior college levels, IP, and GCSE courses. My role as a Teaching specialist covers teaching of Science to students from the mainstream Primary 3 to Secondary 2 levels. I joined Geniebook in 2021 as a Genieask Teaching Specialist for Primary School Science. Geniebook specialises in providing online enrichment programs, and as a Geniask teacher, my role encompasses providing support to students in the Genieask chat platform. Core duties include:- Providing scaffolding and explanations to challenging science questions posted by students in Genieask chat- Curating quizes and study notes for all students in assigned chat groups- Monitoring and moderating chat discussions - Executing activities in chat - Vetting of marking by Teaching Assistants - Training and supervision of Teaching Assistants assigned to my chat groupsOther ad-hoc duties:- Providing on-site teaching support for face to face classes- On-site teaching for face to face workshops- Preparing training materials in teaching pedagogy for new hires

Mindstrecher is the premier Enrichment School providing enrichment classes for children from preschool to JC students. At Mindstretcher (Potong Pasir), I teach primary school level English, Math, and Science to upper and lower primary students, many from international schools. I am one of the anchoring teachers in the centre, taking an average of 10 classes a week. Since the pandemic began in 2019, I have conducted many classes online via Zoom and have been the go to person when colleagues are facing issues when conducting lessons online.
