I have had a fulfilling career spanning 35+ years in Business and Sales. In that time, I have countless accomplishments with prestigious honors. Sales records have been shattered and sales teams that I developed went on to be stellar corporate examples as to what can be achieved. I have taken on projects that were one step away from termination and brought new life into them and their teams and became company models. I have prided myself on achieving goals and meeting timeframes, sometimes re-writing the timetables themselves. When I started a new endeavor, I approached it as an entrepreneur. Found the vision and created the goals necessary to achieve what was needed. Each project honed my skills and clarified my mindset, that anything is doable, no goal is too high, and that there is always a way, always a solution.In working with Fortune 500 companies, I took a hands-on approach to my job, project. Sometimes this landed me in front of the board. We often had to change the business model to achieve our goal. The world of business was changing, technology was ever expanding, world markets were at our doorstep but we had to adapt. In the end, our goals were achieved, budgets met, often at a personal cost. Long hours and days away from family took its toll on my health and relationships. I realized that this cost was too high. Very often, I had to set aside my own values, or my own personal goals to achieve the goals of others. I had to make a shift in priorities. In my search for better health, loving and lasting relationships and personal growth I developed a new mindset, a new clarity in purpose more in alignment with my beliefs and values. I found that I could still use my entrepreneurial spirit, leadership skills, and natural business sense to create new opportunities for others and myself. I discovered there was no limit to the potential if I just pursued my dream and helped others achieve their dreams. Literally the world was opening the door and I could envision no limits.I adopted this simple mantra; The more people I help get what they want, helping them achieve their goals, helping them to clearly see their vision, in doing this I would fulfill my own sense of purpose.
