I currently hold an Honours Degree in Environmental Studies from York University and a diploma in Environmental Technology – Sampling and Monitoring from Seneca College. My undergraduate education focused largely on the sociopolitical aspects of environmental sciences including policy writing, preservation advocacy, environmental and resource management and the role of changing ecological indicators as a determinant of wildlife and human health. During my post-graduate studies, I gained experience and knowledge in ecological monitoring, sampling and processing of soil, water (ground and surface), fish species and benthic invertebrates in accordance with industry protocols and ecological methods such as Ecological Land Classification (ELC), Ontario Benthos Biomonitoring Network (OBBN), and Ontario Stream Assessment Protocol (OSAP). I have also performed data collection, data entry, analysis and technical report writing as a requirement for my college diploma.
