As an undergraduate research assistant at the University of Guelph, I conducted research funded by the Ontario Brain Institute (OBI) that explored the behavioural and brain mRNA effects of combined escitalopram (antidepressant) and adjunct aripiprazole (5-HT1a agonist) in rats, with a specific focus on the 5-HT1a receptor and published this work as first author.2. Assisted experiments for four graduate (2 MSc, 2 PhD) research projects.Accomplishments: Contributed to work that resulted in 4 publications (1 first author) and 6 abstracts/posters at provincial and international neuroscience conferences.
