• Continuously plan, manage, and improve the operations of a large county-owned park and marina that encompasses 230 wet slips, a 220 boat rack storage operation, year round security, equipment and facility maintenance, and ongoing significant park activities.• Organized office operations, resulting in reduction of accounts receivable, improved cash flows, and increased revenues.• Hired and trained dock and facilities crew that reduced labor cost, lowered employee turnover, and increased boater satisfaction.• Achieved the most profitable years in the marina’s and restaurant's twenty year history.• Led the recovery and rebuilding operation necessary after the destruction caused by Hurricane Sandy in October 2012. Recovered and removed debris, obtained multiple quotes to meet government procurement requirements, negotiated contracts and insurance claims, served as general contractor to oversee permitting, delivery and installation of new docks and utilities, managed the expectations of boaters during construction, and successfully completed project under budget.

• Prepare a yearly budget in cooperation with the Treasurer and General Manager for approval by the Board of Trustees and General membership. Review monthly financial and general reports in cooperation with the general accounting and office admin.• Work closely with the Commodore and House, Grounds and Docks committee to ensure the safe operation and maintenance of boat and fueling docks, boat store, equipment building maintenance/repair and grounds• Train, motivate and evaluate a crew of dockhands in the maintenance and upkeep of the property and assisting customers in the launch, recovery and fueling of their boats.• Responsible for the day-to-day operations of the club to include; the hiring and scheduling of employees. Project needs for equipment, materials and supplies. Determine work procedures and schedules, expedite workflow.• Develop a layout of the area used for winter boat storage.• Assist the Club Manager with a calendar of events for our Yacht Club Members.• Plan and keep cost records. Establish budget controls to ensure profitable marina operations.• Coordinates work with marina staff members engaged in daily activities.• Train and develop personnel in the Marina operation.
