Technical expert in the GlaxoSmithKline Centre of Excellence Device TechnologyTechnical contact between GSK (QA, Procurement, production)and plastic device moulders and toolmakersMost of the equipments at our supply base are the GSK propriety: Injection moulds, assembly lines, jigs and fixtures...Suppliers (toolmakers, moulders, assembly lines manufacturer) are based in France, UK, Germany, Switzerland, USA.The devices I am dealing with are the most famous devices from the GlaxoSmithKline Dry Powder inhalers: Rotadisks, Diskhaler, Multi Doses inhaler as the Diskus Device.I am managing all the technical activities to assume the annual GSK demand of Devices and meet our expectations in terms of Quality, Costs and Timing.Revenue budget for this activity: around 2.5 Millions (average for years 2009 and 2010)I am also support GSK sites and suppliers with my plastic knowledge to improve our OEE. (Assembly line optimization, weight reduction on plastic components, new technology on some tools to decrease the cycle time)Personal biggest project Managed: 2009 - Leading of the implementation of a new supplier of Diskhalers in US for the A-Flu pandemic (new assembly line, 5 new tools, Design review, follow up manufacturing activities, tooling validation in 8 months into the "Pandemic situation".Weekly teleconferences with all actors in the project, investment plan, project Plan, Toolmaker visit for first acceptance Tests validation, Supplier visits for the Site acceptance Tests validation, Global GSK validation management.Available for new opportunities in project leads, tooling validation, Tooling development for pharmaceutical or other environment.

- 2009 to now: DPI Device Manager: Responsible of the Dry Powder Inhaler Devices (Relenza diskhaler, Diskus devices). Support and lead the investigation to resolve device customer complaints and complex technical issue. Manage and co-ordinate activity for GSK device suppliers across primary doseform responsibility. Maintain Technical link between manufacturing sites and GSK’s external device suppliers. Develop collaborative working and knowledge sharing to encourage common processes and Ways of Working. Projects budget responsibilities is between 3 to 7 millions €/year for new equipments (moulds, assembly lines, ancillaries) and refurbishment program. Direct involvement in the Investment Plan presented to the Board (based in UK)- 2006 to 2008: Sourcing Group Technologist: Provide technical competence to maintain the supply of the plastics devices (continuous improvement, new technology, new tools, refurbishment program…) through the supply base: Rexam Europe and US, Nypro France & US, Sovrin Plastics and Toolmakers in Germany, France and Spain. Certification and Trainings: Green Belt, GMP, G&A Moulding Training Session 1,2 & 3

Training period: Optimization of cooling system mould and weight reduction of CD pack: design improvement, toolmakers contacts, Trials and DOE.

Training period: kick off of a new Machine for the permeability test for plastic bottles: Test on IR spectrometry, Ox-tran (permeability tests machine), Protocols for validation and procedures writing.

Training period : optimization of productivity on injection blowing machine : making of the 3D models and mechanical analysis of new machine parts for a 20% gain capacity.
