Assistant to the Owner's Representative. Duties consisted of daily and weekly activity reports, warehousing of Voith and Owner furnished equipment, contractor/subcontractor/owner activity coordination, general office work, document control of time sheets materials received, invoices, owner expense accounts, work change directive(WCD) composition and subsequent recording thereof, and construction drawings/drawing interpretation for owner's representative.I became the site Environmental Inspector during this period when I pointed out to the Owner's Representative that the general contractor was out of compliance in a few matters regarding the site's 404 permit.Duties as an Environmental Inspector included monitoring particulate discharge from the concrete batch plant, erosion control, monitoring on-site fuel storage, and protection of the Corps of Engineers wetlands located on the east side of the project with particular attention to the Bald Eagle nest that is present in the wetlands.My attention to detail afforded me the opportunity to be loaned to MWH (Owner's Engineer) as a temporary assistant to the Field Office Engineer to help with an audit, which lead to me being hired by MWH in the diverse role of Field Technician which is my current employ.
