Worked at WHSmiths on one of the busiest motorway service stations on the M6 North during my breaks from study at University of Sheffield. Despite having little experience I offered my services at Haffner, refurbishing machines that make windows. Though I was only there for two months it was the toughest job I have had. It involved a lot of manual labour for a small wage in an environment I was not entirely comfortable in. But the small group of people who worked there helped me learn a lot in a short space of time and it was an experience that taught me the true values of hard work.
