• Assigned to Blue Cross Blue Shield Florida • Individual access provisioning across both the on-prem and cloud environments, including within Active Directory, UNIX, SQL, and Mainframe • Troubleshooting, diagnosing, and correcting users access issues in the entire ecosystem • Creation and maintainence of application scripts to automate large workloads • Identifying, documenting and remediating internal security issues found within the IT ecosystem • Working with every area of IT in order to ensure timely and effective remediation of any security issues identified within the environment or user access issues • Maintenance of Standard Operating Procedures • Performing audit support activities, both in the discovery and remediation phases • Tracking, documenting, and validating various changes throughout the change control process • Development of plans for major changes in the production environment while minimizing impacts to various lines of business

• Performing daily, monthly, and quarterly system monitoring and remediation activities accurately and timely • Implementation and operation of vulnerability assessment scanning tools such as Rapid7 and working with other departments to remediate any issues • Securing both AWS and Azure cloud environments • Acting as a liaison to and communicating with various teams within Vendor Management, External Audit, Information Security, and Enterprise Risk Management • Usage of Security Information and Event Management software such as McAfee SIEM to identify risks and diagnose issues within the environment • Analysis of firewall policies and compliance throughout the organization • Configuration and testing of Symantec Data Loss Prevention • Ensuring and monitoring regulatory compliance with tools such as Tripwire Enterprise
