Hello! My name is Thomas Lepage and I am a Highway Engineering Associate at Lochner and recent graduate from the University of Hartford with a B.S. in Civil Engineering. My interests focus on both transportation and structural engineering. Throughout the last four years of my studies, I have completed a variety of complex Civil Engineering projects, including a parallel pipe system analysis, creating a flownet for a dam, and designing stormwater and sanitary sewer pipe networks with a detention pond in Civil 3D. In addition, I have structurally analyzed and designed a roof truss structure and performed an intersection improvement study using various industry-standard software. My capstone design project involved a comprehensive superstructure re-design of CTDOT Bridge No. 02649, US Route 5 over I-91 and Amtrak Railroad in North Haven, CT. Midas Civil was used to model three superstructure alternatives and analyze them using AASHTO LRFD design standards. Work was presented at the mid and final terms, as well as the annual CETA Design Expo at the University of Hartford.
