Thomas is a Senior Analyst with the Military Studies Programme, under Nanyang Technological University’s S. Rajaratnam School of International Studies (RSIS), a political think-tank located in Singapore. He conducts professional military education for the Singapore Armed Forces (SAF), delivering lectures and lessons for various SAF leadership courses, focusing on strategic and security studies, as well as geopolitics and international relations. More specifically, he conducts lectures and tutorials on Singapore’s foreign policy, military history, military studies, maritime security & seapower, as well as classic international relations and strategic studies modules for officers and non-commissioned officers from the SAF.He obtained a Master’s Degree (Distinction) from Nanyang Technological University (RSIS) in International Relations, and completed his Bachelor's Degree (Honours) from the University of London, also in International Relations. His research fields include Foreign Policy Analysis, Armoured Vehicle Operations, Autonomous Vehicles, Military Technology, and Maritime Security.He has a multitude of event-planning and leadership experiences, and is fluent in Chinese, English, and Korean.
