    Contract with Allegis GroupWorked with a team to engineer an IP Telephony Modernization project from a Avaya TDM system to a Cisco IP solution. The task included modernizing a network infrastructure with software and hardware upgrades to routers and switches in over 350 offices. It included the installation of 14,000 phones and the Cisco Personal Communicator software client onto 14,000 client computers for IM Chat and softphone capability.This was a 3 year project that required significant coordination effort with the business to plan, implement, test, verify, train personnel on using the system to improve and streamline their communication and workflow processes with clients and customers. This provided business with the mobility to communicate whereever they were, whenever they wanted to, however they wanted to, whatever device they were using at the time. It transformed the way they worked and introduce new capabilities and processes that streamlined many tasks.

    Contract with Federal Avaiation AdministrationManaged initiative to modernize the Cisco IP telephony system for 1000 users at one of the FAA Headquarter buildings. Led effort to revamp the telephony infrastructure that was end of life in terms of support. Upgraded Cisco Windows 4.1 Call Manager and Unity Exchange platform to Cisco Linux 7.1.3 platform for Call Manager and Unity Connection. Upgraded the 6608 gateways to 3825 gateways. Ensured that all critical telephony services were addressed and corrected. The disaster recovery plan to backup Call Manager and Unity databases was inoperative. This was corrected and tape backups were shipped offsite. Failover of Primary Call manager and Unity Services over to Secondary Call Manager and Unity Servers was instituted. Licensing issues were corrected and updated. Unity Exchange hard disk space allocation issues were addressed and corrected. Virus protection on the Windows Call Manager and Unity servers were updated and operable. Handled all MACD (moves, adds, changes, deletions) support and all other support issues for all departments on the telephony system.
