Thomas studied computing for three years at Bournemouth University and graduated with his Batchelors degree with honours in June 2021. He missed a second by half a percentage point, which was disappointing, but on reflection he achieved high merits in both levels 4 and 5, and so as far as he is concerned, the entire course was a truly rewarding experience. Tom has proved that he can apply himself under pressure, working to deadlines and with mitigating circumstances (Covid-19 pandemic meant that he never met one person face to face from his course including lecturers, during the final year of his course).Tom is a tenacious and more than capable individual whom aspires to work in the IT industry, now he has his qualification to do so and now he needs the opportunity to prove his capabilities, but sadly without the real-world experience, in part due to the ongoing Covid-19 pandemic, this is proving a challenge greater than he ever imagined.After living in France during his early adolescence, Tom moved back to the United Kingdom aged 13, in 2013. Tom adapted easily to the different UK curriculum and soon joined the school rugby team and later the local gym, training with friends.Tom is currently studying Microsoft's SC-900 (Security Compliance and Identity Fundamentals) in his spare time to keep focused whilst searching for a career opportunity.
